DEVICE DRIVING SYSTEM FOR PERFORMING HIGH-SPEED SAR FUNCTION

PURPOSE: A device driving system for performing a high-speed SAR(Segmentation And Reassembly)function is provided to drive an MXT4400 AAL(ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode) Adaptation Layer)-5 SAR chip for performing the SAR function about an ATM cell. CONSTITUTION: An SAR high-level control unit(10) performs a programming interface of a host application program and an SAR low-level control unit(30). A data structure defining unit(20) defines and stores data necessary for controlling each control unit. The SAR low-level control unit(30) provides a mechanical code operated in an SAR device and a programming interface. A peripheral device connection bus control unit(40) sets a control path between the SAR device and a host central device.
