PURPOSE: A storage container is provided to reduce parts count and manufacturing cost, while allowing the handle member of the container to be easily attached/detached from the storage container. CONSTITUTION: A storage container(1) comprises a container body(11) having an open upper end; a handle member(20) coupled to the container body; a hinge axis(15) arranged at one of the container body and the handle member, in such a manner that the hinge axis is protruded toward the other side where the hinge axis is not arranged; and an axis coupling portion(21) arranged at the other of the container body and the handle member, and which has a groove(25) to be coupled with the hinge axis. The axis coupling portion is coupled to the hinge axis, in such a manner that the axis coupling portion is detachable from the hinge axis at a predetermined rotating position.
