PURPOSE: Non-woven fabric air filer for use in an air conditioner and a method for fabricating the same are provided, wherein the non-woven fabric air filter has anion generating material therein. CONSTITUTION: The non-woven air filter fabrication method comprises (a) forming a web having density gradient by carding thermo plasticity pill and needling combining the web to obtain a non-woven fabric, (b) coating an anion generating material on the non-woven fabric, (c) instantaneously drying the non-woven fabric coated with the anion generating material using an impulse dryer, thereby removing moisture from the non-woven fabric, and (d) hot pressing the dried non-woven fabric, and (e) passing the hot pressed non-woven fabric under a high temperature roller.
