PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a plurality of kinds of images on a TV monitor by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: On the TV monitor 11, digital image data which is input from a digital input circuit 12 passes through a command analysis circuit 13. Then, in a signal processing circuit 14, the format conversion and so forth such as a rotation, an inversion, a signal processing such as a main-subsidiary image display, a conversion from an interrace signal to a non-interrace signal, 480P, 720P and 1080i are performed. Then, the digital image data is displayed on a display section 15 as an image. The TV monitor 11 internally has an ID data memory circuit 18 to store an identification element which can identify the TV monitor 11.
