PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pyrolysis treatment equipment which performs a heating treatment for organic wastes containing >=85% moisture, stably maintains the pressure in a reaction chamber under the pyrolysis treatment at a high pressure above atmospheric pressure and efficiently performs recycling of heat. SOLUTION: The pyrolysis treatment equipment for the organic wastes containing >=85% moisture has a sludge feed pump, two reaction chambers and piping having an equalizing valve for connecting the two reaction chambers and is so constituted that the pyrolysis treatment of the objects is alternately carried out batchwise in the two reaction chambers and that the remaining heat possessed by the objects after the treatment in the one reaction chamber can be supplied through the piping having the equalizing valve to the untreated objects in the other reaction chamber.
