PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chopping board holder which is set on a worktop of a sink, holds a wet chopping board, and guides water adhering to the chopping board into the sink. SOLUTION: According to the chopping board holder, a chopping board holding portion for retaining an upper portion of the chopping board (4) is formed of a chopping board holding portion C (3) for holding a rear surface of the chopping board, a chopping board holding portion A (1) for holding a front surface, and a chopping board holding portion B (2) for holding the front surface, in this order from lower side. The chopping board holder is formed such that the chopping board (4) cannot be inserted into a retaining gap if it assumes a vertical position before it is inserted into the gap while keeping a frontward inclined position. Then, the chopping board (4) is inserted into the gap and adjusted so as to assume an almost vertical position, so that the chopping board (4) is retained between the chopping board holding portion C (3) and the chopping board holding portions A (1) and B (2). By virtue of the height difference between the chopping board holding portions, the chopping board (4) is held in the inclined position, and water adhering to the chopping board (4) is collected to a water-dropping corner (5). Thus, the chopping board holder is placed on the worktop (6) such that the water-dropping corner (5) is above the sink (7).
