PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-use game device in which the cost of a game medium renting machine can be reduced without reducing convenience and without any possibility of misoperation. SOLUTION: The game device is provided with a pair of two game machines 1A to 1D and the game medium renting machines 2A and 2D corresponding to the respective game machines. At the upper part of a game medium renting machine installed between two game machines, a single bill validator 3A and 3B provided with a coin feeding part, a coin identification part and a control part is installed separately. The bill validator is connected to a separately installed coin stocker 16 through a paper money carrier 15. The bill validator and the respective game medium renting machines are connected in the state of being capable of selectively putting out the game mediums to one of the two game machines selected from the respective game medium renting machines corresponding to the bill validator. The game machine is provided with selection means 9A and 9B for selecting which of right and left game machine to put out the game mediums to the bill validator and display parts 7A and 7B including display means 8A and 8B displaying a put-out direction selected thereby.
