PURPOSE: An LCD driving circuit having self-diagnostics function and self-diagnostics method are provided, which has self-diagnosing an operation of a driver circuit of an LCD panel. CONSTITUTION: A digital-to-analog converter(270) converts a digital image signal from a micro controller(210) into an analog image signal, and the first switching part(280) switches an image signal from a personal computer(200) to a scaler(220). The second switching part(290) feeds an image signal from the scaler back to the micro controller. The micro controller outputs a digital image signal for a test pattern to the digital-to-analog converter. An analog image signal from the digital-to-analog converter is fed back to the micro computer via the scaler and the second switching part, and the micro controller compares the fed-back image signal with the image signal for an original test pattern.
