PURPOSE: An overcurrent preventing circuit of a switching device is provided, which prevents an overcurrent from flowing through the switching device efficiently. CONSTITUTION: According to the overcurrent preventing circuit, a PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) control part(110) outputs a driving signal to drive a switching device(130). A buffer(120) amplifies the driving signal being output from the PWM control part with an amplitude appropriate for driving the switching device. A duty detection part(140) detects a duty of the driving signal being output from the PWM control part. And a driver output control part(150) controls an output of the buffer according to an amplitude of an output signal of the duty detection part.
