PURPOSE:To provide a method, in which high torque is obtained stably at particularly low cost an electrostrictive revolving piece type ultrasonic motor. CONSTITUTION:A stable contact in a small quantity of dispersion is acquired by using a rotor manufactured through injection molding by employing a rigid plastic material in the rotor 2, which is fitted on the outside of the stator 1 of a piezoelectric ceramic disk generating eccentric rotational operation by pulse voltage driving in two phase and over which revolving torque is transmitted from eccentric rotational operation by a frictional contact, and an object is attained. Accordingly, the rotor can be manufactured at low cost by infection- molding plastics. Dimensional dispersion is reduced, and the frictional contact between a stator consisting of a ceramic material and the rotor composed of the plastic material is improved and stabilized, thus stably obtaining high torque. The rotor is made of a non-metal, thus preventing the effect of an electric field and a magnetic field. |
