<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the equipment cost, running cost and site area in the sewage treating stage of the activated sludge process using ozone by reducing the total amt. of ozone to be used and to keep the safety of equipment operation. CONSTITUTION:Ozone 7 is intermittently injected into an aeration tank 10 where water to be treated is brought into contact with activated sludge and oxygen, and the total intermittent injection time is controlled to 12 to 200hr per 10 days.</p> |
