A method capable of protecting personal information that can be obtained by analyzing a biological sample, comprising adding to a biological sample a component obstructing the analysis of a component that can provide personal information to be protected, thereby technically preventing the analysis of a personal information such as genome information without a consent by a relative person. In addition, the method not only protects personal information but provides a technique of capable of analyzing protected personal information as needed.
