The invention relates to a false-twist texturing unit and a method for feeding a filament into a false-twist texturing unit of this type, said unit comprising a twist device with several stacks of discs, mounted on shafts, for crimping synthetic continuous filaments. To thread the filament into the twist device, the invention is provided with a feed device comprising several filament carriers, which can be guided into a feed position in respective gaps between the stacks of discs. The aim of the invention is to exert considerable force on the filament during the threading of said filament into the twist device. To achieve this, one of the inventive filament carriers of the feed device is also configured in a displaceable manner. Said displaceable filament carrier can thus also be displaced between a rest position and a feed position during the feed positioning of the feed device, the filament in the feed position of the displaceable filament carrier being introduced into the twist device after passing through the feed position of the feed device. |
