<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrugated pipe having a stable connection part. SOLUTION: This corrugated pipe is equipped with a water swelling sponge rubber ring having a specific gravity of 0.2 to 0.8 and a water swelling rate of 1.5 to 5 times on a connection part recessed part 1 of a corrugated pipe such as a ribbed pipe or a corrugate pipe. In connection between pipes and in connection with a branch and connection body such as a manhole or a handhole, connection with superior water cutoff performance becomes easy by using this corrugated pipe. The water cutoff performance is maintained even when a trouble such as deviation of a pipe position after execution or uneven sinking occurs. A material for the water swelling sponge rubber ring is not especially specified, and followings can be used; ordinary natural rubber, chloroprene rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, or ethylene-propylene rubber. The material is required to have the specific gravity of 0.2 to 0.8 and the water swelling rate of 1.5 to 5 times.</p> |
