PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel amine that is suitable as a hole injection transport material for an organic electroluminescent element and the organic electroluminescent element having excellent stability and durability by using the amine. SOLUTION: The amine is represented by following general formula (1). The organic electroluminescent element comprises at least one layer that includes at least one of the amine represented by general formula (1) sandwiched between a couple of electrodes.
