PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reducesize of a motor by using a flat-type rectifier. SOLUTION: A pump casing 10 includes a hole 24, which is formed in one surface 21 for mounting a housing 30 of the motor and extends in parallel with the axial center of a rotary shaft 33. The hole 24 is used for inserting a rod-shaped member 80. The rod-shaped member 80 supports a brush 84 on its front end and supports a feed line, which is electrically connected with the brush 84 behind the brush 84. The rod-shaped member 80 enters the hole 24 in the pump casing 20, and only the front end of the brush 84 protrudes from the hole 24.
