PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulosic fiber material improved in functionality including heat-generating property by wetting and shape stability without causing an environmental problem in order to improve comfortability for wearing and washability and develop wider applications. SOLUTION: Researches of the modifying method of the cellulosic fiber which is friendly to the global environment have eagerly been carried out in order to resolve problems on quality, safety, economic efficiency and environment. As a result, it was found that both of shape stability of the cellulosic fiber material and functionality thereof including heat-generating property by wetting can be improved by reacting a dihalogeno-S-triazine-based compound having a hydrophilic substituent group with the cellulosic fiber material and at a same time or after finishing the primary reaction, reacting polyhydric alcohols and/or polyvalent amino compound as an auxiliary for imparting functionality and promoting crosslinking reaction therewith. |
