PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compatibly provide responsiveness and quietness in an electric- control throttle control device for an engine controlling the opening of a throttle valve by a motor by controlling the duty of a motor drive circuit. SOLUTION: A driving state of the engine is detected and a frequency (PWM(pulse width modulation) frequency) of the duty control of the motor drive circuit is variably set according to the driving state. That is to say, in an idling state, the PWM frequency is set to a relatively high frequency side (10 kHz) out of an audible range of a person so as to improve the quietness (S7). When detecting an accelerating state more than an accelerator opening change ratio dθ/dt, the PWM frequency is set to a relatively low frequency side (1 kHz) so as to improve the responsiveness (S8).
