<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To combine images displayed across a plurality of display units so that those images appear to be substantially continuous. SOLUTION: At least two display units 290 with different resolutions are constituted so that the geometry of images displayed across a plurality of display units 290 is preserved, and that those images appear to be substantially continuous to the viewer of the images. The compatibility of the sizes of those image elements on the different display units 290 is achieved by using the display unit-specific scaling to compensate for the different pixel sizes on the individual display units 290.</p> |
