PSEUDO-RANDOM NUMBER GENERATION METHOD USING FIXED- POINT ARITHMETIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pseudo-random number by generating a time series of logistic maps dominated uniquely to an initial value by making calculations through fixed-point arithmetic and to use the pseudo-random number as a PN signal of stream codes. SOLUTION: A calculating method which performs the fixed-point arithmetic of logistic maps and its calculations are installed in the chip (FPGA, etc.), of an integrated circuit to obtain a dedicated processor, and the pseudo-random number is generated fast.
