摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a light-emitting device to be mounted efficiently and the mounted position accuracy thereof to be ensured. SOLUTION: A sheet-substrate is formed in an array by transferring the light-emitting devices and formed on a first substrate to an insulating material. Then, after the sheet-substrate is cut into elongated members, along the arrangement direction of the light-emitting devices to obtain linear substrates, these line-shaped substrates are separated and arranged on a second substrate. In the case a color image-display unit is manufactured, three linear substrates having red light emitting devices, green light emitting devices, and blue light emitting devices thereon repetitively, are combined into one set. After these linear substrates are repetitively arranged on the second substrate, it is cut in the direction perpendicular to the cut-direction into linear substrates having red light emitting device, green light emitting device, and blue light emitting device successively arranged thereon, and these linear substrates are separated and arranged in an array form on a third substrate.
