PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system and a control method capable of surely detecting the abnormal state of a system. SOLUTION: This control system is provided with a seismosensor for detecting vibration such as earthquake and a control part for controlling burning, and when the seismosensor is operated due to earthquake, the state of the seismosensor is detected and stored, and when a power source is restored, the state of the seismosensor is called by the control part so as to be recognizable. Thus, when any abnormality due to earthquake is detected, and the power source is detected, and then the power source is restored again, it can be recognized that the power source is disconnected due to earthquake, and the state of the system can be confirmed, and the system can be started after a necessary operation is performed.
