PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device and a recording paper processor which make it possible to restart restoring operation without freezing ECONT of the image forming device even if a communication interruption signal is held continuously ON owing to system abnormality of the recording paper processor. SOLUTION: In the image forming device having an image formation part, where an image is formed on recording paper, and an image formation system equipped with a finisher, where recording paper sheets discharged from the image forming device are bundled or the like, the ECONT 19 of the image forming device sends and receives information to and from the finisher 23 through a three-wire type serial communication line and the finisher 23 raises an FBUSY signal when a serial communication with the ECONT 19 can no be received and raises an FCCRT signal when requesting a three-wire type serial communication of the ECONT 19. |
