PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent information stored in an IC card from being illegally revised in a paper money pile-up machine for an IC card. SOLUTION: A paper money pile-up machine 1 for an IC card is started only when a card for start having an accept signal is inserted and the accept signal is received. Thus, after a power source is turned on, the paper money pile-up machine 1 for an IC card is not started until the card for start is inserted and since a general card is not accepted by the paper money pile-up machine 1 for an IC card, the opportunity to revise the information stored in the IC card by illegal operation or illegal action to the paper money pile-up machine 1 for IC card is decreased so that reliability in the security of the paper money pile-up machine for an IC card can be improved. |
