PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently manufacturing a thermoelectric module, having thermoelectric elements jointed to predetermined positions of electrodes. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the thermoelectric module, having P-type and N-type thermoelectric elements electrically connected and fixed in series between electrodes formed on insulating substrates, comprises the steps of forming electrodes for a predetermined number of the thermoelectric modules and a plurality of marks in a predetermined positional relation with the electrodes on a large insulating substrate in which a predetermined number of the thermoelectric module substrates can be formed, and positioning and fixing one large insulating substrate and the thermoelectric elements and other insulating substrates with reference to the marks.
