PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an vehicle hands-free unit with an excellent sound effect, which attains a smooth speech without giving hindrance to driving. SOLUTION: An assist handle includes a front part mounted with a loudspeaker for listening telephone call signal of an opposite party, a secret conversion button for transmitting telephone call signals to an ear microphone for personal telephone call when desired, a reproduction button, a recording button for recording conversation contents and a conversation button operated when getting a telephone call, a side part mounted with a microphone sound level control level, an ear microphone jack for alternatively connecting the ear microphone or the loudspeaker, a sound level control lever for controlling the sound level of receiving and a microphone for generating a sound signal, and an interior part mounted with a hands-free main board.
