PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image acquisition device which can record the long- period growing process of a plant as image information stably with high precision. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a means which gives a spatial origin for photographing an object always at a fixed position and angle in photographed time-series images, a means which gives a temporal origin for recording the fluctuation of growth of each individual caused in the growth of the plant without fail with the corrected fluctuation, and a means for efficiently recording a large number of images of the test object; and the long-period growing process of the individual is recorded as image information with high precision.
