PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical receiver that can pull in a reference voltage in single-balance conversion at a high-speed and approach an output duty ratio to an ideal value of 50%. SOLUTION: The optical receiver includes a couple of photodiodes of the same size, a differential amplifier that gives two output signals from a couple of the photodiodes to bases of a couple of transistors(TRs), two emitter follower circuits that shift levels of complementary output signals of the differential amplifier, a couple of feedback resistors to feed back output signals of the emitter follower circuits to input terminals of the differential amplifier, and a capacitor whose one terminal is connected to a constant voltage source and whose other terminal is connected to one of the photodiodes of a couple, and an optical signal is made incident onto the photo diode to which no capacitor is connected in a couple of the photo diodes. |
