PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve lubrication between rollers and bearing rings and between a pin hole and a pin in a roller bearing formed by providing a pair of side plates rotatably journaling and retaining multiple rollers incorporated between a pair of bearing rings. SOLUTION: In this roller bearing having a pin type retainer 17, a notched groove 28a is provided in the inside diameter 22 of the side plate 20 so as to be a lubricant channel 28. Lubricant can thus easily intrude in intervals between the rollers 14 and a flange surface and between the pin hole 16 of the rollers 14 and the pins 24 via the channel 28. |
