PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid detergent composition easily moldable, having excellent foaming ability even in hard water, causing neither slimy feeling in using nor tensive feeling of the skin in rinsing, making the skin fresh after washing, finishing the skin moist after drying, wherein the solid detergent composition has luster externals of fine texture and is hardly melted down when repetitively used. SOLUTION: This solid detergent composition is characterized by containing (a) 20-60 wt.% powder of an acylamino acid-type anionic surfactant represented by formula (1): R<1> CONR<2> CH2 CH2 SO3 M, (b) 10-55 wt.% polyalkylene glycol having 200-20,000 average molecular weight, (c) 5-40 wt.% 8-24C fatty acid or 8-24C alcohol and (d) 0.01-15 wt.% polyethylene glycol fatty acid ester-type nonionic surfactant represented by formula (2): R<3> COO(CH2 CH2 O)n X, wherein a+b is 45-85 wt.% and a/b is 1/2 to 5/1.
