PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a room partitioning device for air conditioning, which can prevent cold air or warm air from directly blowing on a human body, by detouring cold air or warm air from an air conditioner at the time of cooling or warming the interior of a room, and can prevent warm air from dissipating upward at the time of warming the interior of the room. SOLUTION: The room partitioning device 1 is comprised of a top face cloth 2 and side face cloths 3 hanging from peripheral edges of the top face cloth 2, and a plurality of hangers 4 arranged at the peripheral edges of the top face cloth 2 are hooked on suitable portions in the room A, whereby the room partitioning device 1 is hung in the room A. Herein, the top face cloth 2 is formed of a material with non-ventilating or hard-ventilating performance, while the side face cloths 3 are formed of a material with ventilating performance.
