PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of lowering the water temperature of the sea level for the prevention of global warming. SOLUTION: Compressed air of 150 l/cm<2> /min or more is blown out vertically to the sea level from a deep layer part of low temperature with the difference of 10 deg.C or more from the seal-level temperature. Sea level water and low temperature water are mixed at the rate of (1:1)-(10:1) by wave motion to lower the sea level temperature by 1-5 deg.C.
