PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide aluminum foil for an low-tension anode for an electrolytic capacitor in which ineffective melting due to AC electrolytic etching can be suppressed and electrostatic capacity can be increased, in the case of manufac ture using relatively inexpensive high-purity aluminum prepared by a segregation process. SOLUTION: The aluminum foil for an low-tension anode for an electrolytic capacitor can be manufactured by using high-purity aluminum prepared by the segregation process and contains, by mass, 50-200 ppm, in total, of iron, silicon and copper, 0.2-3.0 ppm zirconium and 0.5-15.0 ppm boron.
