PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner bottle 20 capable of discharging toner from an aperture part 23 and suppressing the adhesion of the toner to the outer surface of the toner bottle 20 around the aperture part 23 more effectively than by the conventional manner. SOLUTION: The aperture part 23 is formed on one end wall of the toner bottle 20 so that its diameter may be smaller than that of a cylindrical main body part. A part of the inner surface of the shoulder part of an end face where the aperture part 23 is formed is extended to the edge of the aperture part 23 from the inner surface part of the shoulder part so as to form an extended part 85 for lifting up the toner. Furthermore, the inner surface part of the peripheral wall of the container ranging to the extended part 85 in a peripheral direction is extended in the direction of the center line L of the rotation of the container more than the edge of the aperture part 23 so as to form an in-aperture extended part 86. Then, the toner existing at the lower part of the cylindrical main body is lifted up to the aperture part 23 and smoothly discharged by the rotation of the toner bottle in a state where the toner bottle 20 is nearly horizontally placed on the bottle holder of a toner replenishing device so that the aperture part 23 may face sideway.
