PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to easily imitate musical sound with individual texture of an old instrument. SOLUTION: A digital signal processing circuit 18 converts a bit rate, a sampling frequency and a frequency characteristic of inputted digital musical signal by a bit rate conversion part 51, a sampling frequency conversion part 52 and a multi-band equalizer part 53 according to a given parameter set and outputs them, respectively. This parameter set is preset so as to imitate the musical sound obtained from an old instrument (a vintage one), and is stored in a parameter storage pat 55. Instead of this, the musical sound can be imitated by using impulse response waveform data obtained from the old instrument (a vintage one) and processing the inputted digital musical sound signal by convolution operation. |
