PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost material for a superhigh frequency chip inductor which can easily be produced, is usable in a high frequency region of 300 to 800 MHz, can be sintered at a low temperature of <=950 deg.C, and has a high magnetic permeability, and to provide a production method therefor. SOLUTION: The main component of the material consists of planar hexagonal soft magnetic ferrite expressed by the compositional formula of Ba3- XSrXCo2- Y- ZZnYCuZMnWFe24- W- VO41 (wherein, 0<=X<=2.0, 0<=Y<=2.0, 0<=Z<=2.0, 0<=W<=1.0, and 0<=V<=1.0 are satisfied). This ferrite is mixed with a sintering assistant which enables low temperature sintering, and they are synthesized by using a solid phase reaction method. Final sintering is performed at a low temperature of <=950 deg.C. |
