PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system which can prevent an edge from being excessively emphasized when edge emphasis processing is performed, an image display device, a program, an information storage medium and an image processing method. SOLUTION: An edge emphasis part 120 comprises a proximity pixel difference processing part 122 which grasps the difference between the luminance of a processing-object pixel in a specific frame and the luminance of a proximity element in proximity to the processing-object pixel, a luminance correction part 124 which corrects the luminance of the processing-object pixel according to difference information showing the grasped difference and information showing a moving direction from a moving-direction grasping part 130, and a driving control part 126 which controls the driving voltage of an LCD according to the corrected luminance of the processing-object pixel and the luminance of the processing-object pixel in a succeeding frame of the prescribed frame. |
