PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupon providing system which makes it possible to set the number of points by articles, etc., to be sold when coupons are provided and can easily grasp the use states of the coupons. SOLUTION: This system has a coupon storage means which stores by the coupons the coupon properties including provider specification information specifying the providers of the coupons, provision conditions of the coupons, and point issue conditions, a user information storage means which stores pairs of member specification information and held values of points issued to members by the members, a means for inputting member action data consisting of pairs of information regarding actions of object members of coupon provision and the member specification information, a means which finds a point value from the member action data and point issue conditions and adds it to the point held value to update the point held value, and a means which updates the issued points in the coupon storage means with the point value issued to the member. |
