PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of performing feed by applying specified pressure to a feed member at a positionally stable nip part having good heat efficiency, whereby it is unnecessary to arrange an opposed member from an opposite side through an endless belt at a feed spot. SOLUTION: This fixing device is equipped with the endless belt equipped with a heating element sandwiched and stuck between two heat resistant insulating layers, a butting member arranged inside the endless belt, a pressing member pressing the butting member through the endless belt, and the feed member feeding power to a power receiving part provided at the end of the endless belt so as to make the heating element generate heat. In the fixing device, the power receiving part and the feed member slide at the nip part formed by the endless belt and the pressing member and at a position on the same direction as the longitudinal direction of the endless belt, and the fixing device is equipped with an elastic member imparting specified pressure to the feed member, oppositely to a pressing direction acting at the nip part.
