PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To erase information corresponding to a track from a play list when the track is edited. SOLUTION: A user properly operates the operating device of a system controller 100 and inputs the album number and the track number of the track which the user desires to erase. The system controller 100 determines whether the track corresponding to the numbers is registered or not on the play list of an HD recording and reproducing device 300. The system controller 100 displays warning on the display unit of the system controller 100, when it determines that the track is registered on the play list. The user properly operates the operating device after confirming the display and decides track erasing when the track may be erased. The system controller 100 erases information corresponding to the erased track from the play list while erasing the track desired to erase from the HD recording and reproducing device 300.
