The invention relates to a motor vehicle and a method for regulating an automated clutching on a motor vehicle driven by an engine, by means of a control device, during an acceleration process. The engine accelerates the motor vehicle until a wheelslip of the driven wheels relative to the ground is detected by the control device, whereupon a control command is sent to the clutch from the control device which retracts the clutch so far that the wheelslip is reduced to a small residual value.
