PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finishing agent for an elastic fiber effective for preventing the mutual adhesion of fibers on a spinning bobbin during the production of the elastic fiber (especially the production by a melt-spinning method), improving the reeling balance in the inner-outer layers of a cheese in a post- processing step, moderately keeping the slippery of the yarn to prevent the drop and collapse of cross-winding on a spinning bobbin, etc., suppressing the accumulation of a fallen deposit (scum) on a guide, etc., in the course of the traveling of the yarn and stabilizing the spinning operation and the following operations by optimizing the friction of the yarn with the metal of a knitting needle in the processing step of the product to prevent the yarn breakage.
