<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overdischarge protecting circuit for a battery which can suppress its own current consumption. SOLUTION: In an overdischarge protecting circuit for a battery, which is employed in a power supply apparatus having a main power supply 11 and a battery 12, there are provided a fuse 22 inserted between the battery 12 and an output terminal 31, a voltage-detecting means 21 which detects the voltage of the output terminal 31, and a control switch means 26 which operates automatically, according to the voltage detected by the voltage-detecting means 21, and when the voltage becomes value lower than a prescribed value, applies an excessive current to the fuse 22 to melt it.</p> |
