<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air washer for preventing an outlet temperature of a primary cold water in a heat exchanger from being lowered by increasing a cooling temperature difference of a circulating water by raising a return temperature of the water to the exchanger. SOLUTION: The air washer comprises banks 16a, 16b and 16c of multiple stages provided along a flowing direction of an air flow in a water spraying chamber 12 for generating the air flow from an air inlet 13a toward an air outlet 13b, a plurality of spraying nozzles 17 provided at the banks 16a, 16b and 16c to inject a spraying water into the air flow, a non-cooling circulating water system 19a provided between a water storage tank 18 for storing dropping spraying water and the banks 16a, 16b of front stage side disposed at an upstream side of the air flow, and a cooling circulating water system 19b having a heat exchanger 21 between the tank 18 and the bank 16c of the rear stage side disposed at the downstream side of the air flow.</p> |
