PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for setting a burst mode to a memory device. SOLUTION: This device has a first signal buffer receiving an address control signal and generating an address control signal stored temporarily, a mode detecting circuit receiving the address control signal stored temporarily and generating a burst control signal, and a core access trigger circuit receiving the burst control signal and generating a core access signal used for starting core access for burst mode operation of the memory device.
