PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a general purpose visualization window to be easily attached/ detached by making it a component part, with high airtightness and excellent durability. SOLUTION: The visualization window for a high temperature/high pressure container is characterized by a cylindrical joint tube to be inserted into an attaching hole of the high temperature/high pressure container. The cylindrical joint tube is a cylindrical joint tube without screws. The joint tube of the visualization window is inserted into a cell body having a socket part with a male screw cut on the outer peripheral surface of the mounting part, and a union nut is screwed/tightened and mounted on the socket part via an inserted/engaged annular seal member. The joint tube part of the cell is inserted into the visualization window having a socket part with a male screw cut on the outer peripheral surface of the mounting part, and a union nut is screwed/tightened and mounted on the socket part via an inserted/ engaged annular seal member. The packing is previously engaged/mounted on the inner peripheral surface of the union nut, and under this condition, a female screw on the inner peripheral surface of the union nut is engaged with the male screw cut on the outer peripheral surface of the cell body.
