PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake device to be arranged above an engine, having a compact and easy of module figure. SOLUTION: The intake device 1 for the engine for introducing air passing through a cleaner case 10 storing an air element 19 through a throttle 43 into a throttle box 31 and distributing it from the throttle box 31 via intake manifolds 50, 55 to each cylinder of the engine comprises the throttle box 31 mounted and supported on the upper face of the engine 70 via the intake manifolds 50, 55, and the cleaner case 10 formed into a hollow shape to be joined to the throttle box 31 with an air cleaner case 15 storing the air element 19 integrally partitioned from a blow-by chamber 20 for a blow-by chamber reflux system with a partition wall 13.
