PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the working man-hour for a bearing and to reduce an installation space of the bearing in a valve device of an internal combustion engine for a vehicle. SOLUTION: In this valve system for the internal combustion engine wherein two rocker arm shafts 16a, 16b are mounted near a cam shaft 13, an intake valve 18a and an exhaust valve 18b are opened and closed by transmitting the operation of two cams 14a, 14b mounted on the cam shaft 13, respectively to the intake valve 18a and the exhaust valve 18b through two rocker arms 15a, 15b swingably fitted to eccentric shaft parts 16aa, 16ba respectively formed on the rocker arm shafts 16a, 16b and the eccentric directions of the eccentric shaft parts 16aa, 16ba of two rocker arm shafts 16a, 16b are respectively adjusted and fixed to adjust a tappet clearance of the intake valve 18a and the exhaust valve 18b, two rocker arm shafts 16a, 16b are arranged in series on the same axis, and two mechanisms for adjusting and fixing the eccentric direction are separately mounted near both ends of the axis.
