PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structurally simple and inexpensive plumbing correcting device for jointing of a long member, which allows plumbing correcting work to be easily carried out in a short period of time without being a hindrance to other construction work and can be easily removed in a short period of time after completion of final jointing. SOLUTION: The plumbing correcting device B for the jointing of the long member comprises: a main body member 30 having a wedge supporting part which is inserted between erection pieces E1 and E2 from the outside of a space, surrounded by the erection piece E1 on a lower-side member DP and the erection piece E2 on an upper-side long member UP, and paired splice plates S1 and S2 temporarily fixed to the erection pieces E1 and E2, so as to be capable of being placed on a top surface of the erection piece E1; a wedge member 6 which is arranged slidably on a top surface of the wedge supporting part; a wedge-member driving screw 36 which is screwed for support into the member 30 and coupled to the wedge member 6; and an elevating member 7 which is placed on a top surface of the wedge member 6 and supported ascendably/descendably on the member 30, and faces an under surface of the second erection piece E2.
