PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an offset correction device and its method that can correct an offset component included in an output of an analog/digital converter without incurring cost increase. SOLUTION: A first stage register 2 is provided to a post-stage of the analog/ digital converter 1. The first stage register 2 adds a value by 0.5 LSB continuously to digital outputs D3 to D0 of the analog/digital converter 1 and cancel the offset component resulting from rounding off by the 0.5 LSB in average by the analog/digital converter 1 to correct the offset, then the offset correction device can correct the offset included in an output of the analog/digital converter 1.
